Giving Back

A primary goal in my financial planning practice is helping people increase and protect their wealth. Most people in the world do not have the financial resources that my clients have.

Giving back to the less fortunate is very important, and I share this value with my broker/dealer, Commonwealth Financial Network®.

I am also concerned with protecting the environment and have actively pursued ways to improve and protect our natural resources for the future.

Below are some of my accomplishments in giving back:

Boys and Girls Club: Help maintain facilities.

California Bluegrass Association: Volunteer at various music festivals and support traditional music.

California State Parks: Tide Pool docent on the Sonoma Coast, where I help children learn about and explore our coastline.

Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District: Volunteer Swim Coach.

Department of Agriculture: Volunteer forest ranger in the Lake Tahoe Basin with the US Forest Department.

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR): I received certification in May 2015, and I am a volunteer emergency medical first responder in my community.

Habitat for Humanity: Help build new housing for the underprivileged.

Keep Lake Tahoe Blue League: Eyes on the Lake volunteer protecting Lake Tahoe from invasive aquatic plants.

Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation: Board of directors and finance committee member, where I support Sonoma County Regional Parks.

Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods: Board of directors member, where I support Sonoma Coast State Parks, Armstrong Woods State Preserve, and other Russian River–area state parks.

Rotary Club Chaing Mai Thailand: Deliver and distribute collected eye glasses to Thai children.

Sonoma County Registrar of Voters: Act as an election official and poll worker.
